...damn I havent posted in a while (besides for my songs). Hmm...where do I start?

It's amazing here and I fucking love it. No joke.
But of course I do miss NYC, the greatest city in the world. Philly is no comparison..
I actually miss the city a lot, contrary to what people may think [*cough*adam*cough*]. The convinience, the familiarity of it to me, the sheer awesomness of it. ... =[

I actually havent had any problems with Philly...I kinda ~~love~~ like it [...too early to determine love. >.< ]. My one major complaint is...NO ~~NIGHT LIFE!~~ NIGHT SERVICES! wtf is this?? Wendy's closes at 11? Are you kidding me? And what?...the mall closes at 7 on a Saturday?? Get the fuck outta here...
[edit: i realized that "night life" was the wrong choice of words...there is in fact a night life here in Philly. What I meant was, shit just closes early is all.. xP]

And I freakin miss my friends too! Gosh! Don't think I've forgotten you! Thank God for phones and AIM and Facebook cuz otherwise idk what I'd do with myself. I don't even know how we'd stay in contact...I am not the letter-writing type.

Emily's here in Philly now! I'm wondering when we're gonna hang out. She's probably been super busy lately...she just moved in like two weeks ago. And she's going back home this weekend! =( I wish I could go home but I have way too much to do. I went home last Friday (just for the night) and I fell behind a little bit. I'm still trying to catch up (but am procrastinating by blogging xD). I went back home last week for Sophie's Sweet 16, which was AMAZING. It was SOOOO much fun! Sophie looked so pretty and she had a blast. I did too; it was an awesome time! I wish it never ended... =/

As for here, classes are good, except for English (which isn't as much bad as it is annoying..and I'm always late to that class [what else is new?]. This past Tuesday, I freakin overslept and completely missed class. Ehh...tis my life.) and Math (OMFG MATH! I CANNOT STAND THAT CLASS! I HATE IT WITH A PASSION! A BURNING FIERY PASSION THAT HAS THE WHITE-HOT INTENSITY OF A THOUSAND SUNS. as every class goes on i slowly hate it more and more...). I'm always falling asleep in Math too...its just being in that room makes me so. damn. tired. Nothing helps...coffee (which actually makes me sleepier), energy drinks, apple juice, sweet cakes..nothing. errrrr...

A funny thing happened a couple weeks ago...The Edge's (unlike those poor kids at J&H) fire alarms don't go off 8 times a day at various times throughout the morning and night. They never go off. Particularly because there are never any fires over here (or stupid people who burn popcorn or like to pull the fire alarms for fun/to steal people's shit..sorry J&H kids). But one day over here, the fire alarms just went off. Randomly. Me and my roommate Josh were just like "wtf...this doesnt happen." Of course, there was no fire, no burnt popcorn, no jackasses.
This is gonna be a little loud...lower your volume!

It lasted all of 90 seconds....it was weird.

And now for today...I showed up late to Spanish (...did I even need to say it?) cuz I took too long in the shower....no it's not what you think.

Then I had Psych and had an amazing conversation with my prof (who is an awesome lady, btw). lol this reminds me...when I got back to my dorm from class, I was on Facebook and I put as my status "Daniel had a great, stimulating conversation with his psych prof." The ensuing conversation made my day...
Zach says "sex doesn't count as a conversation."
Then Reggie comes and throws in "stimulating, huh? u sick bastard".
lmao..too funny. *wonders...how do they know me so well?...* o.O

After Psych, I stalled and wasted time and procrastinated on Facebook (my downfall...that and sleeping) and then I suddenly remembered..at 4 PM..that I had a Math quiz due online...at 5 PM. =/
rushrushrush til 5...I did it. After that, I grabbed some lunch (BK...ITS SO BAD FOR YOU!™) and went to Center City to go to el banco.

Speaking of BK...I left Vanessa a rap the other day (it was part of my procrastination process on Monday). She loved it and I'm glad she did. =)
I wonder how the mean streets of BK are treating Van....don't slip on a bagel, V..

On the DJ front, I've been working on a couple instrumentals and a mashup the past couple of weeks. Should hear em soon...tis good stuff.

God, what else?...well, now I'm here blogging on a Friday night. Tired as fuck. Not feeling like doing anything.
Hrmm...I gotta get motivated...gotz to get outta here. I'm bouncin, peoples...catch up with ya soon...later!

FINALLY!
I offically decided to stick with [drumroll please] DJ DDB as my DJ name! Whixh means that now I can release my stuff to the netherwebs! *big goofy smile* They might take a while to load, so PLEASE be patient.

This (my first mashup!) I made a few months ago. I fine-tuned it and polished it up a couple days ago and now its ready for you guys! If you like it, you can download it here.

This next one I actually started after my second one but I finished it way sooner than I expected so I consider this my second mashup. Here's the download.

About last Sunday...

I almost forgot...just a little tidbit I wanna share. Last Sunday when me and the fam were going through the storage boxes, I found a suitcase all my old towels and bedsheets and shit from Culver. Anyway, in that bag, I found my old laundry bags. My mom suggested I take em to college with me but they're the heavy duty polyester type and I don't really care for those so she said "Alright throw them out". Instead I decided, why not sell them? BUT, here's the problem: they had those iron-on ID labels and my name and ID number written really huge in the middle in Sharpie. No one would want that, nor would I want anyone to have my name and Culver ID (not that I go there anymore but still...) with them. So guess what I decide to do? Draw something over my name! I turned a bag that looked like this:

I thought it was a good idea. Everyone likes Mario! And I think it came out pretty good..I likes. Now I just gotta figure out what to draw on the other bag (I have two!). =?

Emily came up with another possible DJ name for me: DJ DG. I like it..its a nice play on abbreviations. HOWEVER, in looking up all my possible DJ names (including Emily's), I found out that 4 1/2 (including Emily's) are TAKEN! DAMMIT! *long face*

Possible name - Reason for not using it:

DJ DDB - Too similar to DJ DB (of which, there's a few; http://www.djdb.com/MainSite.html, http://www.dj-db.com/about.php just to name two). [this ones the 1/2 in case youre wondering]

Ok, today...ugh!

Let's backtrack.

I ended up not going to Emily's barbeque yesterday (I'm not sure if Em went through with it though, it might've gotten rained out cuz it was thundering yesterday). My parents made me stay home looking up more of that nasty l-word (loans!). And still...no luck. =( This is getting really bad.

TODAY...me and the fam went to storage and cleared that shit OUT! We took tons of boxes and shit home to sift through it: sell, keep, chuck (mostly the first and last of the three). We wanna sell so much so that i can have some sort of money for school. =( I have been gross and sweaty and sticky and dusty and dirty all day... =(
It was made a little better though when we went to Pio Pio for dinner (yummmm!).

Gotta find out how to sell stuff online.

Oh yeah...early yesterday, I finished up my Batman YouTube Poop that I'd been working on for a week or so. Here 'tis:

So yesterday I went to see The Dark Knight again with Adam, Vanessa, Michael, and Dan. omg...still an awesome movie, but it SUCKED not in imax. If you havent seen TDK yet, SEE IT IN IMAX WHEN YOU DO. ITS SO MUCH BETTER! I'm pretty sure that movie was BUILT for imax.

After, we got some McDonald's Badabababa I'm Lovin' It (the M in the logo stands for Michael) and then drove around in Adam's car like maniacs: blasting Miley and Britney in Guidoville (emm VEE!).

The second we dropped off Van, Dan said he tolerated Michael Jackson, Cansei de Ser Sexy, and Eminem long enough. He put on a cd of some of him, Adam, and Chris' band, Cerebral Decay's, music that Dan himself recorded. And you know? It's not as heavy-metal-death-killing-music as I thought it would be. It was actually pretty good. Dan told me that Adam wrote some of the stuff and I will say, I was quite impressed with my biffle. Hmm...

Emily's supposed to be having a barbeque today over at her place...she hasnt gotten back to me with a time so I'm not sure what time I'm gonna head over there. I'll probably hitch a ride with Adam when he comes into town. Possibly Pineapple Express afterwards?? That movie looks hella funny.

Hello blogosphere.

I finally decided to start blogging seeing as I have nothing better to do.

...I always thought I was too dumb to blog...just wouldn't have stuff to talk about.

Hmm...whatevs! Here I go!

Anyway, today...I'm back at square 1. I stopped seeing George today...I dont know how thats gonna work out. I mean, yeah, I'm gonna be in Philly for the next 4 years starting in 3 weeks but...I've told him so much and I really hate the idea of starting fresh.
...I dont think he really helped me anyway. Nice guy, just not my type of pace.

So on top of this (really that is on top of what I'm about to say), the L-word...LOANS! Damn big business banks and their fucking built-for-the-rich system. No joke, I've applied for like 15 different loans...all rejections.

THE ONE THING...I'm still waiting on an answer from Chase and I'm praying 24/7 that they accept me. PLEASE!

All of this, but wait! There's more! There is not one moment of peace in my house because all this loan shit is driving all of us (well, except Gabi) crazy!

So all in all, I'm down in the shits today when, about an hour ago, I decide to log onto Facebook. Lo and behold, I see the greatest comment ever! It's on a picture of me with Ginger. The convo started out with Adam, being his usual dildo-self when it comes to my dogs, saying:

"'bout to get some head from ginger!"

I say:
